Chris Theisen and John Boardman created TeenBehaviorContracts.com in 2005 after collaborating earlier on another parenting site which offers a behavior program and behavior contracts to the parents of children and preteens.
Chris Theisen received his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Northern Colorado in 1994. He went to work soon afterwards as a Mental Health Worker in a psychiatric facility which catered to children and adolescents with emotional and behavioral problems. Chris worked with children and adolescents in this capacity for about six and a half years then decided to work with adults (which he continues to do to this day). While working at the psychiatric facility, Chris enjoyed creating and utilizing various behavior management tools. Many of these unique tools are now available as downloads or as free printables on Chris and John's various sites.
Chris lives in Colorado and has two young daughters.
John Boardman is an experienced web designer and computer programmer. He graduated from Creighton University with a degree in Computer Science and currently works as a manager and computer programmer for a large freight company in St. Louis. John has developed many websites and has partnered with Chris Theisen to bring these valuable parenting tools to parents all over the world.
John lives in Missouri and has two children, a teenage girl and a preteen boy.
